From 29 March 2011, Irish flag-carrier Aer Lingus (EI) will launch a twice-weekly service using Airbus A320 between Dublin (DUB), the airline's largest base, and Perpignan (PGF), a small city on the French Mediterranean coast, near the Spanish border.

The new route will face no competition, although Ryanair (FR) operates four times weekly from Dublin to two nearby airports: Carcassonne (CCF) and Gerona (GRO). Both airports are located just over 1 hour's drive from Perpignan. The market served here is mostly tourism-based, with Irish tourists heading to the nearby beaches and countryside.

Cette nouvelle ligne n'a aucun concurrent direct, mais Ryanair (FR) vole quatre fois par semaine depuis Dublin vers deux aéroport proches : Carcassonne (CCF) et Gérone (GRO). Ces deux aéroports sont situés à 1h15 de voiture de Perpignan. Le marché ici desservi est essentiellement basé sur le tourisme, dû aux touristes irlandais qui visitent les plages et la campagne locales.
