From 13 April 2011, Ryanair (FR) will launch three weekly flights between Birmingham (BHX) in the British Midlands and Montpellier (MPL) near the French Mediterranean coast in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The flights will be operated with 189-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Wed, Fri: FR2811 BHX17.45-20.30MPL / FR2812 MPL20.55-21.50BHX
This route is aimed at British tourists, for whom the region is attractive for its history, sunshine, beaches and wine. It faces no direct competition, although Bmibaby (WW) will launch services from Manchester (MAN) to Montpellier this summer.
